Western view of the mighty South Wall of Marmolada from the surrounding of Ciampediè in the Catinaccio Group/Rosengarten.
On the left of Marmolada, behind Collac, there are Piccolo Vernel and Gran Vernel, whereas, on the bottom, one can see the grassy ridge between Valle san Nicolò and Val Giumela starting fom Buffaure and culminating in Sass d'Adam (or Sass de Dama) 2430m.
