Westernmost part of the...
Westernmost part of the periodic Lake Cerkno or what has remined of it. After long lasting rainfalls the lake formes. It may cover a size of 30km² and becomes the largest lake of Slovenia. At its western border the lake is drained by large cave systems like Mala Karlovica. The water emerges again at the beautiful valley of Rakov Skocian.
