Wild Cloud

The sun lights up a cloud breaking up after a threat of weather which brought high winds but never a drop. This was shot from Confusion lake on The LeConte Divide. The mountain is peak 12,410 on the south shoulder of Mt. Goddard. The pass to the left is the way into The Ionian Basin. Sequoia/Kings Canyon NP, Sierra Nevada, California, USA. August 2006.
