Wild Red Raspberry

Wild Red Raspberry

Red Raspberry (Rubus idaeus) shrub is very common in all of Polish mountains. In the Tatras it grows up to the elevation of 1780 m. Red raspberries ripen in July. They are a popular fruit commonly used in fruit juices, fruit salads, jams and preserves, wine, tarts, and more. The fruits and leaves of this plant also contain many health-promoting properties. A tea made from the leaves of raspberry has been used for centuries as a folk medicine to treat wounds, colic pain, upper respiratory disorders, and difficulties in childbirth.
