Kurigan River is a jumble of avy runouts in this section. Beyond the Parus (Windsail) Peak, one can see the sunlit meadows of Ioldo Creek, our next destination. Katun'skie Belki Range, Altay Mountains, Siberia. Day 6 of our March 1988 ski backpack.
