I can't believe this has its own page! I drove by here as a distraction on the way to Tishomingo to rock climb. Can you believe there is rock to climb in MS?
Drove up the mountain right before sunrise. Right at dawn, the whole area frosted over to make the otherwise degraded mountain quite serene.
Highpoint #31, third of the day (after AR & LA). Rented a minivan & took turns driving from MA (home) to MO-AR-LA-MS-AL-FL & back.
Not much to indicate the HP. Did find the USGS marker and that was about it.
Nice day, nice hike, highpoint#30!!!
A nice, quiet hike up to the highest point in Mississippi!
