I do know Alain Robert 'the French Spiderman' climbed the highest tower in zhangjia Jie to attract more visitors to the national Park. I couldn't find anything about restrictions for climbing there, but i'm not 100% sure if all climbing is allowed there...
Fantastic post from a part of the world we don't see very much. Your photos are amazing. You've done a spendid job of representing that kind of Shangri-La kind of feeling.
Thank you very much! China indeed has a lot more to offer than we usually see. There are many more National Parks that are probably very beautiful but not very well known to us Western people. I certainly want to visit these parks someday!
Thanks for your comment and i am glad you like the page & photos!
Cheers! Lodewijk
stunning photos, great description, just looking at the pics I would have thought that the area was limestone. Thanks for the geology background on the area. I work hard trying to cross things off my must do list but it just keeps growing. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks a lot Jeff, I am glad you like the page. I have exactly the same problem with my to do list: it always seems to grow, i don't think I will ever be able to cross off everything!
Have a great day, Lodewijk
