Change of plans
We actually started with the idea of bagging Hangerer first, and do this route on the way down if we still had time for it.
However, on our way up, as we passed the sign marking the start, we looked at eachother and without a word we both felt we wanted to do it first!
In hindsight it's a good thing we did. Not that the route was really difficult or long, for it wasn't. But Hangerer, though 'just' a hiking peak, proved to take a bit longer than we had anticipated. Had we done it first, we surely would have lacked both the will and the energy to do the Via Ferrata on the way down. As it was, we got back at our car around 8 pm, tired but content.
