I'm almost back where I started early in the morning. I've traversed Magerstein (3273m) and Schneebiger Nock (3358m), with a long leisurely break on the summit before descending the north Ridge. The hut is visible even from the summit of Schneebiger Nock, but I'm much closer already, on the northeastern banks of the scenic Malersee (2501m). 1 August 2014.
