From the last posts of Andre Hangaaard, one can suppose that it's Pik Lenin, but the description of the photo it is a task of the Author, always forgotten by many SPers.
And, in my opinion, the Photo of the Day should be chosen among the photo including correct informations in the caption.

I would like to complain that your photo is anonymous. There is no description about the name of the mountain and I invite you to publish photos with useful information, as SP is not a site for photographic competitions, but first of all it is an informative site.
