12825 viewed from the northeast. 12825 is the highest summit on the Red Castle Ridge but it has a gentle south ridge so it is easily climbed. East Red Castle Lake is behind the trees on the right. September-2-2010

Still green.

Usually brown by now in the Sierra.

That picture was taken a few weeks ago. Now it would be brown, but there's a very short span between the green and brown when the willow brush is as golden as aspens, but I missed it this year.

Things are always brown, until you view things
from the perspective of the Raven.

Unless the Raven is color-blind..
