20 Apr 2005. This is the exposed ledge on the west side of the Sawtooth, but before the final exit ledge. Traversing the snowfield was a little exhilarating. Pictures of the route from the late 1990s show the same snowfield, so I assume it is a regular winter "resident" of the route.
