-->ND: This is where the blue blazes abruptly end. The pink ribbon on the branch marks another trail that goes off to the left. The trail (probably the NCT!) continues ahead to a parking area with two trailheads on M-34. (The ribboned trail may also go to that parking area - I did not investigate.)
