This is the parking area at the corner of Emmett Street and Wagner Drive in the Verona Park section of Battle Creek. The Battle Creek River is across Wagner Drive, with a overlook of the canoe portage around the Verona Dam.
The parking area is a short distance east of M-66 (Capital Avenue) on Emmett Street, and is the best place to park to access the eastern end of the Battle Creek Linear Park where the NCT runs concurrently.
