-->ND: From the River Road end of the NCT through the Fort Custer National Cemetery, it is a very short distance to M-96 (East Augusta Drive). This starts a short road connector to the Augusta Drive trailhead.
Note that across M-96 is the Fort Custer Recreation Area, a popular mountain biking destination (though there are no actual mountains, of course).
