My son and I were on our way down from the refugio after an unsuccessful summit attempt when we encountered this long line of female police trainees from Quito. They were on their way to the refugio before hiking back down to their weekend camp at Laguna Limpiopungo.
Other than being surprised at this sight coming out of the clouds, I was thinking about the lines that were probably going to form at the toilets!
