6/9/05: Having finally gained...
6/9/05: Having finally gained the NE Ridge of Castle Peak, I had this great view of what was to come to get to the summit. This picture is deceiving in the amount of snow: I had been cramponing my way up for several hours on solid snow-slopes to get to this point. There was some dicey snow and ice along the ridge to come, and the summit push was especially snowy as well. Fun climb!
