Re: New signature photo.

Great colors, and I like the effect on the water. But is it tilted to the right? Maybe it's just a bunch of crooked trees, but the Needle itself looks off-kilter to me.

Re: New signature photo.

Technical Details:

Canon Eos 5 28mm f/16

Exposure: 20 seconds

Gitzo tripod w/ bubble level.

It's level, but could be some aberations d/t the wide angle. I usually make sure the subject is parrallel to the film plane but it was 5:30 in the morning. Thanks for thecomments

Re: New signature photo.

Great shot indeed. Did you use a graduated ND filter?

Re: New signature photo.

No filter but i do need to get one. I have several shots that the foreground is greatly under exposed. The film is velvia. There is a close up of the falls on the Crestone peak page that has better foreground exposure.

Sweet

Ahhh, no fair....you got a big glowing needle in your background. I got stuck with fog.

Oh well, the waterfalls there are definitely interesting. Great shot... Looks like we use the same camera too.
