This is a great shot - 4 stars. And I do agree about the canines being quality partners for alpine routes: our dog.

Well I have had canine company in most of my trips (suprizingly more in the winter), be it stray dogs I fed and they stuck with me, shepherd dogs that came along just for fun or whatever. Some times we had to carry dogs who got trapped in technical routes (e.g. razor thin ridges, snow slopes suddently icing up etc)
