A tribute to your faithful canine climbing partner

As you lace up your boots, and load your pack, They know. They get excited, the tail wags, and eager yelps can't be squelched. They look with eager puppy dog eyes full of anticipation. How can you say no? They live for this moment.
GET IN, those two words are ecstasy to cocked ears.

As they get along in years, no longer able to scramble in the hills, you always have those special moments. Let this be a memorial to exploration shared by kindred spirits.

Last time I checked, it was spelled "Ecstasy".

Otherwise, a great idea for an album !

Thanks for the Spell check. You know what they say: An editor should have a pimp for a older brother so he has someone to look up to.

Love the album. I posted a few of our pups from some of our hikes. Dog pics anywhere else on SP don't seem to get much respect. Your sentiment is very true. Our dogs are 9 years old and they can't do the longer hikes anymore but many of our travels & hikes would not have been half the adventure without them.

I know exactly what you mean, John. Seems that cats and butterflies
get more respect than dogs, for crying out loud !!!

"Dog pics" are completely welcome on my 'Mountain of Smiles' album.
