A close up of the upper East...

A close up of the upper East Face of Wheeler Peak. For some reason, I see lots of inset human skull forms in the rock. For certain, the friable face is a death-defying place to climb. In fact, the park recommends technical climbers go elsewhere. Photo taken July 4, 2003 from the notch between Wheeler Peak and The Pinnacle.
