A cornice just below the summit of Ishinca

I'm on the summit itself, looking W along the trail coming from the NW slopes. I came up by the SW route and at this point plan to descend the NW slopes. The trail appears to go up in the direction of the cornice, but that's just an optical illusion. It's pretty much level on the ridge, slightly lower than where I'm standing, and the route turns to the right and down before reaching the cornice. 26 July 2011.
