This looks like

the Cascades of western WA after a winter
snow? Did you have your snowshoes on, or was
the approach pretty well packed down?

After living here in AZ since 1992, I still
remember what snow looks like, but THANKS for
jarring my memory!

We were XC skiing, Larry. As I recall the snow wasn't packed down at all that day, except by us!
