A Moose near Kessler Peak | [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
If my rack recently broke off I think I would be this stressed out too. Due to the likely hood of being charged I did not get any closer to this guy. Big Cottonwood Canyon October 3rd, 2010 Comments[ Post a Comment ] | EricChu | Nice! | |
Voted 10/10 | Maybe if you reduced a bit the shadow on this image, using something like Adobe Photoshop or just simply iPhoto (if you happen to have a Mac), the moose would be better visible. You certainly got close to him!!
Cheers,

Hasn't voted | Thanks for the idea Eric....I use Picasa 3 by google to photoshop my pictures. I took this picture with a 300mm telephoto so he was far away...but judging how the hair on his back rose up when I approached I was obviously too close.
The distance plus the sunlight right in the camara lens made this photo not as "photo genic" as it could have been.
After climbing I was driving past the area in the dark. Just as I thought to slow down I saw a huge different bull moose crossing the road. As I went for the camera he took off into the hills. The moose that night was likely bigger than my little car. Happy Trails Eric and many thanks | | Posted Oct 7, 2010 5:47 pm |
