A panoramic view of Ijes and the two Grauspitzen

Ijes is the group of farm buildings in the bowl shaped valley in the middle. The buildings are hard to see because they are light grey and well camouflaged against the snow behind them. Schwarzhorn (2574m), also known as Hinter Grauspitz, is the peak in the center. Just a little bit left of center is Vorder Grauspitz (2599m), appearing lower only because it's slightly further away. The striking peak on the far left is Glegghorn (2447m). 24 June 2012.
