Ansel Adams hated jet streak over the Sierra. Planes bound for the SF bay area descending from 36,000 ft. leave a frost trail as they drop el. towards the airports 100 miles distant. Even lobbied to have the jets diverted to no avail.

Re: I see!Adams died in 1984 at the age of 82. Jets have been around since the 60's. When you and I were watching Flipper and Bonanza on color tv.
