NiceVery, very nice. Kessler is very lucky to have a Dad that takes him all over the world.

Himalaya trip in December!Congratulations. Very inspiring to me. Also struggled finding time to climb in the Himalaya now that I have been to S. America whose climbing season fits better. Amazed how could a 10 year old be so into climbing.
Nice story. Has to be a reason it pops up the first time I got back to SP after a long while. Looking forward to your Ama Dablam story - that is also my dream.

Congrats on your journey!I bet a journey with a close one (like your son) is a lot better than a dream summit with a bunch of strangers. If your son likes being out there as much as it seems, I bet he will want to climb Ama Dablam with you when he is a little older. That would be incredible. Waiting for that TR!

Yes, he already wants to climb it now.
We were getting our pictured framed at the local shop, and I guess they were friends with a jounalist. Kessler was interviewed and the story on the front page of the local paper.
I wasn't there for his interview, but here's what he said (there are some minor errors in the article, but only minor):

I'll think he's have to leave me home if he really does climb K2 someday though. ;)
