A Room with a View
After traversing Mount Lady Washington, we made a break and pit stop in the Boulderfield. You can see some tents at Boulderfield sites at the bottom of the picture.

Fun trivia fact: Boulderfield is the highest designated campground in the US National Park System, at about 12,700. (Denali does not have designated campsites.) It also has two attractive, open-top, solar-powered privies, which will await a different picture.

The view from your campsite ain't bad at all.

August 2009.
