The Appalachian Trail

The Appalachian Trail is the famous footpath that goes from Springer Mountain in Georgia to Katahdin in Maine, covering over 2100 miles. It is marked by white blazes usually on trees or rocks. I've found it interesting to see all the different signs and markers noting the miles between spots. Send in your photos of the AT with the white blaze or any AT signs or markers you may have come across.

I like this album!

I'm just a fan of signs and amazing views in general but I have hiked two portions of the AT and it's a great trail :)

Parents

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
