A view of The Pinnacle...
A view of The Pinnacle (12,630 ft) from the notch between it and Jeff Davis Peak on July 4, 2003. To reach the high point of The Pinnacle requires nothing more than 100 feet or so of class 3 scrambling along the exposed fin. But watch your step. The whole thing is precariously loose (as if this isn't obvious from the photo).
