another option

we took a slightly different route to Mad Wolf. continuing straight in this photo, when we reached the large headwall that sits at the head of the arid valley we opted to follow game trails to the right (your route goes up the left side). essentially a steep, loose class II trail through a break in the cliffs.

one of our climbing partners more or less followed your route, and although he said the climbing was fun in spots, our route sounded a little bit easier. just thought i'd add this in case someone was looking for a different way to access the long talus slope leading up to Mad Wolf.

Re: another option

Yup, I have a feeling there are several ways to get up Mad Wolf. I have also climbed straight up the north point of Mad Wolf. Class 3 but surprisingly good rock for Glacier.
