A view of the South Summit...
A view of the South Summit from its east side. In summer, the South (Main) Summit is merely a scramble. However, the mountain is complex in structure near the top, so care should be taken to go the right way. This would especially be the case in whiteout conditions. Sept. 10, 1995.
