Abies Nebrodiensis

Abies Nebrodiensis

The Nebrodi Fir, abies nebrodiensis, a nearly extinct endemic Sicilian species. In 1995 less than 30 trees had survived but thanks to special care taken by the forrestry department of Polizzi Generosa they are slightly better off today. May 14th 2006
