Very interesting....Most unusual conditions--and to me it's more than just the lack of snow; at first glance the vegetation and light don't even come across as "Decemberish." We had that kind of winter in the Northern Rockies, as well. Strange year, indeed....

Re: Very interesting....Our local Island ski hill - Mt Washington - didn't even open that year for the first time ever. And it's about 80km north of Adder.
