The Mountains of Vancouver Island

Not everyone wants to plough through pages of descriptions and trip reports to look at pretty pictures, so here's a collection of images of some of the mountains of our island paradise.

Actually, a lot of people I've met express surprise that there are, in fact, mountains on Vancouver Island at all! So this is for them too.

I've kept this to summits only and would ask that other contributors do the same.

Do you have any pictures of Golden Hinde up close? I saw the one from a distance. It's on my long term to-do list.

Coming soon. Did it last week. Watch for mountain, route and TR pages. And I'll add the close-up you wanted to this album right away (and delete the long range shot).

Cheers,

Martin
