Thanks for the comment! I'll add more pics with future hikes. After fooling around with so many clothing/diet options, I figured I'd better write them down for future reference since they worked for me...finally!
Most excellent! I'm STILL bummed that we weren't able to shovel-ride down the Whiteface ski slopes three years ago. Wanna do a night hike/shovel ride on Whiteface in the near future. But we'd need someone stationary to take photos of the groomers' faces as we whizzed by.
Or...we could catch the quizzical look on their faces as they tried to figure out what the heck made the tracks. I looked behind on Tabletop and shovels leave a different groove than a snowboard! Oh yes, catching air sucks on a shovel...hit a root coming down Colden and found myself a bit in defiance of gravity. I won't go into detail on the landing, though i could have been worse I suppose...
OH, NOW you've infiltrated summitpost eh? Did you sign up just to post that :) ...as if adkhighpeaks, vftt and my work email aren't enough!
In answer to you question, no it's my backup water supply!

Very detailedAbsolutely amazing pictures to support the report! I also like how you listed both your diet and clothing options. Good stuff.

Back in the SaddleWay to get back on that horse. Now if only I could find the time/motivation, we could hike together again.
