After my fall on Upper Skyline Trail
Back at Paradise, Mt. Rainier NP - August 24, 2009

Note the torn left pant leg and dusty pants. I am loaded with all my gear but happy that I made it down after my fall near the very top of the highest section of the Upper Skyline Trail that afternoon. My ankle was swollen but I hadn't taken my boot off yet knowing I wouldn't get it back on! My husband was just happy to see me back in one piece. I was just happy that my brand new dSLR camera was still working!

I am quite certain it would take a lot more than that to slow you down! That's a beautiful area.

True but I didn't know it was broken for 11 days! It's all healed now and I've added it to my trail stories!

I am totally fine now! Just in time for the weather to turn ugly of course and family plans to get busy!

Thanks for thinking of me!

I had a great time! Hobbling around I did manage to see several other places in the park!
It was a great trip! Thanks for asking!

Thanks! I put on a good face and then 'crashed' for the rest of the day!
