Pictures from a Beautiful Place

These pictures were all taken at various locations along the forty-mile stretch of road that parallels the South Fork of the Shoshone River near Cody, Wyoming. These beautiful mountains are part of the Absaroka Range in the Central Rockies, and much of this area lies within the Shoshone National Forest, which encompasses 2.4 million acres and was set aside in 1891 as the first national forest.

Parents

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
