A lakeside stroll north of the Golden Gate

Got together with the guys for an afternoon hike to Alpine Lake (644' el.) in the Marin County Municipal Water District on the north side of Mt. Tamalpais. Been hiking all over the hills of Marin for years but never to this cool scene. It felt like being way off in some Oregon wilderness instead of a trailhead only 25 minutes from home!
