Alpine Wintergreen berries revealed
Berries of Gaultheria humifusa hide away low near the ground; I turned a little shoot with berries upside down to take this picture of the berries' light pink underbellies.

any of these? If so how were they?

We have berries in our neck of the woods, up in the hills. I think they call them "Chokeberries." They are delicious,
but have big pits.

Most wild-food books caution against eating false-wintergreens, but they taste good for humane palates. Not so much for dogs :)
