Andrew's Bead-lily (Clintonia andrewsiana)
This striking red lily grows in moist, shady forests along the coast in Oregon and northern California, though it may no longer be present in Oregon. It typically can be found under old growth coastal Douglas fir or redwoods. This photo is from near Crescent City, California. June 2002
