Angel's Landing

I was 6 months pregnant with our son when I climbed Angel's Landing. I think the little fella 'enjoyed' the view as I felt him doing cartwheels in my belly when we reached the summit. A really cool day hike - very rewarding views!

Quite an oxbow in that river!

Sorry for the prompt geology spin on your wonderful photo (10/10, by the way) but I know geology better than geography. I s this the American SW, say Bryce Canyon? it look arid with plenty of sandstone. A real headache to quarry that material and make fetticini blocks. Lucky they don't permit commercial enterprises in National Parks. Great picture!
