Angel

Angel

Leading Angel above the initial 20 foot finger crack crux. If you get nice fingerlocks in a #0.5 Camalot crack, that is good; if your fingers are smaller, I think the route might be tougher (???....off-fingers after the bottom-most move). The face holds on this popular "boulder problem" have a texture of teflon (Apr. 22, 2006).

Sweet!

Wow nice job on this tiny crack on Castle. I'm surprised and good to know that larger fingers come in handy.

Re: Sweet!

Yeah, nice job! That thing felt more like 10B or C than the 10A in the guidebook.

Haydar, did you lead Karate Crack?

Re: Sweet!

Thanks Martin.
Barely got it! Had the wind been blowing in a different direction, might not have happened :)

Re: Sweet!

Yeah, well not clean few hangdogs, one fall and a lot of swearing, and the traverse when your arms are all pumped and there are no footholds... good stuff :)

Sorry Martin, I couldn't make it out to Index to meet you. Radek told me you guys got in some good climbing, sweet!
