for the highest spot on Navajo Mtn is the one to the left side. You can see
the witness benchmark on the rock in the right background. All you can do in this situation is to walk around and hit everything. A sad summit for such a magnificient mountain. If you walk to the north a bit, you are supposed to be able to see Rainbow Bridge and Lake Powell. For us, we were pretty chilled so we grabbed a snack and headed down to warmer temps.

I have also heard that a 10 minute walk north from the summit will bring you to the rim of the peak and you can see pretty much all of So. Utah.

I've heard that too but it was so cold that we just wanted to get lower where it was warm. We probably had a below zero wind chill factor on the summit.

Dean, as mountain climbers and high-pointers,
(and even people enjoying a two-hour hike),
very quick and accurate decisions must be
made. You apparently made the right one,
because you avoided getting frostbite or
worst! I just hope that you enjoyed your
Snickers Bar. - Larry of AZ :)
