Another close-up view of the Untersberg's east wall

[ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Another close-up view of the Untersberg\'s east wall
In the background, the Hochkönig (2941m), the Steinernes Meer with Funtenseetauern (2579m) and Schönfeldspitze (2653m), the Watzmannfrau (2307), the Watzmann (2713m) and the Grosser Hundstod (2593m). This photo I shot from the Untersberg cable-car on the way down, just before diving into the clouds.

Again, I love how you have captured the clouds, like you could step out.

In that moment, I was so close to the clouds, I could almost have stepped out - of the cable-car! - and walked on them. ;-))) Just a minute later, I was in them - and it was like "switching planets"!

Some amazing elements really come together in this photo: the clouds, the big peaks in the background, and the stunning slope on the right-side of the frame. Excellent image.

Yes - if the clouds could resist us, we wouldn't have to resist the temptation, would we? ;-)
