Full snow above 2800'. Route finding above that was..... interesting. But, some cross country direct to the road made for a shorter assent. Snow deep & soft 4000' to summit. Glad to have my MSR's w/ tails for the trip. Opted for Mt. Defiance Trail down. Located trail @ 3500' after "some" bushwacking.
