Antelope Brush at the base of Olympus
Antelope Brush (Purshia tridentata) is a modest high desert Rosacea which miraculously transforms in spring when it becomes densely covered with bloom. The Latin species names means "tree-toothed" and refers to its little three-lobed drought-resistant leaves. 5/15/08
