Not to be trifled with

Three of us had a run in with a large bull on the Frary Peak trail about a half mile from the summit. We quickly learned respect as it chased us for a bit.

Bison can be very unpredictable. For this hike we meet up with two bulls. One at Elephant Rock and then one at the trailhead. Which this picture is the one at the trailhead. Thank goodness nothing happened with both of them.
