What an ancient tribe of prehistoric folks
MIGHT have seen (minus the houses), while looking out over Arizona's Verde Valley towards Squaw Peak.
Squaw Peak is part of AZ's Black Hills, and can be seen from Wingfield Mesa to the east. Squaw Peak is standing in what is considered to be the "
geographic center" of Arizona, and tends to HOLD the state together in a somewhat spiritual way.
WARNING:
When venturing into the caves along the western facade of Wingfield Mesa,
there's always a "
ghost of a chance" you may awake a venomous snake from its slumber, so please watch your step!
