Anybody missing their Mitten?
Last call: Is anybody missing a Mitten???

"They are deep, rich and variegated, and so luminous are they,
that light seems to glow or shine out of the rock than to be reflected from
it."

(Clarence Dutton - 1880)

Monument Valley is not really a valley, but an upwarp of sedimentary
rock at least 260 millions years old, surrounded by iconoclastic sentinels
that have yet to fully erode away ...

[West Mitten Butte (5,597'), as seen from the Lookout Point area, MVTP, Arizona].
